The unique character and style of interiors have always inspired me and it has been fun to capture the work of these well-known interior designers…

Photographs taken for MARLO

July 2018

This new interior design company was looking for a website and photographs which capture the essence of their philosophy and style. My brief was to capture light, space and calm. I also designed a simple web page so that they can showcase their work.

For our second shoot, I photographed a Georgian terraced house in Islington, which had been freshly renovated by the designers, Maria and Lowri (hence 'Marlo'). I also took some portraits.

Photographs for Aisha Subhani

February 2017

Interior designer, Aisha Subhani, commissioned me to take photos of some beautiful spaces that she recently curated in a house off the Bishops Avenue and in Hampstead. Here is a selection of the photographs she chose for her new website of these two locations.

Photographs taken for Cat Hoad of Absolute Project Management

Here, the client asked me to photograph in two locations after major redevelopment work. The architect was so pleased with the photos, he subsequently bought some for his website. Below are the descriptions of the two projects:

Barnsbury N1 - This interesting project was a renovation and modernisation of a neglected Victorian terraced house in Barnsbury.  The clients undertook significant structural work to open and remodel the lower and ground floors and fitted new bathrooms and kitchen.  Interiors and styling throughout were updated with an emphasis on a calm overall scheme with splashes of colour and opulence.

Barnsbury N1 - This project included major structural works to a large Victorian villa, opening up the entire lower ground floor allowing natural light to flood in.  The new layout provided more space for modern family living and made the most of the garden space and beautiful, easy to maintain planting.

Colombage

This client has a beautiful colmbage (half-timbered) barn in Normandy, France, that they rent out for most of the year. They wanted to improve on  the number of visitors to the holiday listings website  and do justice to the newly renovated property.
